Email support@arteptech.com — we reply within one business day, usually much sooner. Include your store's myshopify domain and the name of the lock you're asking about.

Setup in three minutes

  1. Install B2B Lock. The free plan covers one active lock; no card is needed to try it.
  2. Create a lock: what is hidden (everything, a collection, products, a product tag), who may still see it (approved customers, any logged-in customer, a customer tag, named customers), and what everyone else reads instead.
  3. In the theme editor, add the B2B Lock block to your product template, above the price. Add the Apply for a trade account block to a page if you want customers to be able to request an account.
  4. Open Preview in the app and check what a guest sees before your customers do.

FAQ

Can a visitor get around the lock? No. Besides hiding the price in the theme, the app installs a Shopify Function that refuses the checkout for products the visitor isn't approved to buy — so an old cart link, the Ajax cart or the Storefront API all end at the same wall.

Does it touch my theme? No. It's a theme app block; uninstalling removes it and leaves nothing behind.

We already tag our wholesale customers. Put that tag in Settings → Approved tag and everyone carrying it keeps working — no re-approval, no export/import.

What does “hide the product completely” do? The product stops appearing for that visitor: no price, no buy button, and checkout refuses it. Search and collection pages are handled by the same block.

Who gets the account requests? They land in the app under Account requests, and we email you if you asked for that in Settings. Approving adds your approved tag to the customer in Shopify.

What if Shopify can't run the check? The order goes through. A lock never costs you a legitimate sale.

Uninstalling removes the lock from your storefront immediately. Shopify then asks us to delete your data, which we do within 30 days.
